Serving Texas Students by Seeking Historical Accuracy About Jews, Judaism and Israel in Textbooks and Curricula
The Education Initiative is the JCRC's commitment to providing quality education for all young people in the Dallas area. The project seeks to positively impact primary and secondary education for both the Jewish and general communities in Dallas, engage and support the Jewish community in this effort, and help promote an economically healthy Dallas.

The JCRC Education Initiative provides comprehensive resources and educational materials regarding Jews, Judaism, and Israel. The initiative also provides support and guidance for Jewish families navigating the public schools system. Learn more.

The JCRC Education Initiative provides up-to-date, relevant resources and materials for educators to promote the accuracy in teaching of Jews, Judaism, and Israel in public education. Learn more.
Texas Textbooks
PEI’s on-site presence at the State Board of Education’s hearings resulted in more than two-dozen changes to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards and contributed to over 1,400 corrections and changes to the new textbooks.
